Job Description:

Property / Conveyancing Solicitor / Watford / Hertfordshire / Law

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our team. Commercial Conveyancing experience would also be beneficial. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of residential property transactions from start to finish. This will include dealing with sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of residential conveyancing matters
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transactions
  • Conducting property searches and reviewing legal documents
  • Drafting contracts, transfer deeds, and other legal documents
  • Providing expert legal advice to clients and ensuring transactions proceed smoothly and efficiently
  • Keeping up to date with changes in property law and regulations

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years of experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures in the UK
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
