Job Title: Consultant Property Solicitor / Conveyancer

Do you have your own client following or have the desire to grow your own client base?

This role would suit someone who has a minimum of three years PQE in Residential/Commercial Conveyancing and would like a work-life balance and to choose their hours of work, be it full/part-time.

We are a forward-thinking and growing law firm based in Hertfordshire, however, applicants for this role are welcome from anywhere in the UK. Mentoring and supervision will be provided if required.

There is no pressure to have an instant client following. This role would suit a range of candidates from someone looking to get back into the profession i.e. After maternity leave or a senior solicitor looking for more flexibility. This role would suit candidates looking to balance their family commitments. Training and support will be provided.

This is a consultancy model, however with the flexibility and benefits of working in a close and family-friendly team under no pressure.

Job Title: Consultant Conveyancing Solicitor

Job Overview: We are a small law firm looking for a consultant conveyancing solicitor to provide legal services to our clients. The consultant solicitor will work remotely on a flexible basis and will be responsible for managing conveyancing transactions from start to finish. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting property searches and investigations
  • Advising clients on property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Drafting contracts and legal documents
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties
  • Managing the conveyancing process from start to finish
  • Conducting exchange and completion of contracts

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor with at least 3 years of experience in conveyancing
  • Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload
  • Familiarity with case management systems and other legal software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to clients
  • Flexibility to work remotely on a flexible basis

Desirable:

  • Experience in working with a small law firm
  • Familiarity with the local property market
  • A network of contacts within the industry

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on wills and probate matters to clients
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
